Art Imitates Life : Rene Segura

Congratulations to my cousin Rene Segura (photographer) in California for winning the Vidal Sassoon Competition.

These are the final images that were submitted to the Vidal Sassoon Competion. I'd like to thank TiffanyThater for her amazing artistry, Deigo Raviglione and Ross Mcmanus for their mastery of hair and I'd like to thank Amber Kannar for providing me with the opportunity to work with such a talented staff. I'd also like to thank the Bellus Academy, a Sassoon academy and all of the Advanced Academy students for allowing me to produce this body of work. Thank you all... But most importantly my MVP, the ever so talented and gifted MS Nadia Ibanez!! - Rene Segura

Art Imitates Life

A New York lawyer (Nathan Sawaya) quit his job to become an amazing lego artist. I am not talking about cities or spaceships but true ART. He made these with LEGOS!!! It is truly amazing.

Art Imitates Life

While on my trip to the Dominican Republic i saw many different types of art. It is truly inspiring the paintings that people create over there. People literally are on the street everywhere selling their art work. Not only does it attract tourists, it attracts the locals as well. These are just a few paintings that they come up with. Unfortunately i was unable to purchase one of the paintings so i looked up a few that were similar to the ones that i did see while i was there.

Art Basel Miami x PME Edition

As you may have recently noticed we attended Art Basel Miami a few weeks ago & it was an amazing experience. I was able to catch some footage of some of the art work. We attended the Last Rights Event as well as walked the district for other showcases. One of the spots we stopped at was a showcase from Made You Look Productions. They had the some of the best pieces that i saw the entire night. Shout out to all who attended the event with me ; AOutrageous , JonnyWalker , Rob_Of_SMS .
