Poetic Justice: 16
Smokey Robinson - A Black American
-this weeks poetry is in tribute to Black History Month
-some people didn't like some of the stuff he was speaking about
or the way he said some stuff, but he's only speakin' the truth.
"if you go to Africa to go in search of your race, you'll
find out quick you're not an African American, you're
just a black American in Africa takin' up space. . . "
-Smokey: talented singer, songwriter, poet. old school
flavor from the late 70's. i know i wasn't even born yet but
his music is classic, plus we share the same b'day. . .
